Section 6AA Recognition Spotlight: Erin Prekker (Minneapolis Southwest)

from Coach Chris Aarseth

Erin, a remarkable swimmer for Mpls. Southwest, is the embodiment of the ultimate competitor in the water.  Her dedication and passion for swimming drives her to reach new heights daily.  Recently, she made waves by breaking a 26 year school record in the 100 yard breaststroke.  Her relentless pursuit of excellence, combined with her natural talent, allowed her to achieve this feat.  Erin’s success is a testament to her unwavering commitment to swimming, as trains relentlessly and constantly thinks about how she can be the best for her team.

Away from the pool Erin cherishes what every swimmer does.  In her eyes nothing is more comforting than a plate of pasta and a good night sleep.  She uses both to fuel herself for rigorous swim practices.  Erin’s dedication to her team and her personal indulgences make her an inspiring and well-rounded teammate.  She definitely leaves a lasting impression on all of those who know her in and out of the water.

Love hearing about your competitive drive, passion, and of course, love of food! What a great role model Erin, and Minnesota Swim and Vibe is happy to recognize you and applaud what your bring to the pool every day.
