Sophomore Bella Imholte broke our 24 year old school record at the first dual meet of the season on Tuesday night. The record was previously held by Britta Veitenheimer from 1999, we have had many athletes come close to breaking this record but Bella crushed it last night with a time of 1:03.80. What makes this record extra special that Bella broke was that her Mom, April swam on the Two Harbors High School team with Britta. April and Britta remain friends today and Britta was very happy that it was Bella who finally took down that record.Â
We are excited to see what the future holds for Bella and our team this season. We have a very young team and in the process of rebuilding but the future is bright for these ladies.
