There are many young ladies on our team that deserve recognition for what they bring to the pool on a daily basis. We are a culture based team and we care more about how you act, your attitude, and what you contribute to the team culture far more then how fast you swim. Katherine contributes all the right things and does it day in and day out
She is the epitome of the swimmer mentality in my opinion. She comes to practice every day with a positive attitude, an elite work ethic, and a willingness to take coaching. She is selfless, willing to fill whatever role is needed and swim any event that helps the team
I love she is someone and can point to any day and say “watch how Katherine is doing this”. She’s the kind of person coaches love to have and that you can build a team around. She has the nickname of “Sprinkles” because I’m too lazy to write out long names and abbreviate them Sprinkles is a great name. Sprinkles make everything a little better, even if they are good already
