Section 4A Recognition Spotlight: The SeniorsĀ  (Cretin-Derham Hall)

from Coach Lisa Thomas

The Cretin-Derham Hall group of senior girls is like no other. Individually they all bring something so unique and valuable to the team, but together they are a truly iconic group of women. They have turned this team into the powerhouse of an organization it is today. Just like other impressive groups, such as Disney, they are all stars in their own right, but when brought together they represent a legacy that is so much bigger.

To shed some light on their spirit, coaches had some funā€¦these leading ladies include :

Molly Magnuson, our Minnie Mouseā€”with six years on the team she is our long standing and classic presence, truly beloved by all and sets an example for the girls coming after her.

Izzy Macheel, our Merida, a warrior in and out of the pool. She inspires others to do their best and stretch to reach their goals.

Elizabeth Barnett, the Tiana of our team, she is so hard working and never afraid to dream big.

Ella Baumberger, a true Anna, someone who will go to the ends of the earth for her team of sisters.

Daisy Franzen, embodies the traits of Snow White. She is so happy and will put the needs of the team over her own.

Katie Chestovich is our Lilo, for her Obama means family (the team family) and family means no one gets left behind.

Dani Rubbelke is Jasmine through and through-she is passionate and always ready for an adventure.

Lillian Moore is our Belle, so inquisitive and ready to take on any challenges with her whole strength.

Sydney Johnson is Edna Mode, sassy, confident and an absolute super friend.

Tessa Lentsch, or Moana, is both headstrong and charming-cheering for all those around her.

Josie Thomas is Mulan. She is such a leader among her peers and her inner light shines through.

Olivia Reeder is our tinker bell, and a testament to the statement that great strength and spirit can come in small packages.

Izzy Donnelly is Pocahontas, so down to earth but also creates her own path.

Siobhan Wheaton is Rapunzelā€”outgoing and spontaneous, people canā€™t help but be drawn to her fun loving energy.

Claire Baumberger is Elsa, a quiet leader that inspires those around her and everyone respects.

Mary Musolf is Cinderella, the most kind and compassionate person you could meet.

Katie Oā€™Donnell is Jane from Tarzan, quick thinking and goofy, the perfect combination of resourceful and joyful.

Olivia Evans is Elastigirl, so flexible and go-with the flow, she is willing to bend over backwards to help her team.

Each of these girls is unique and shines on their own, but what they have built when they come together is something that very few groups can replicate, and the CDH swim team will always be grateful for their long lasting legacy both in and out of the pool. As we turn the corner with our eyes set on championship meets, we know we are getting closer to sending them off. We look to all of them for guidance and know from swimming and beyond, they will do great things!

Minnesota Swim and Vibe would like the thank your coaches for putting in the time and effort to recognize such an amazing group of young ladies. All different, but all about leading the same squad in the same direction. Might have teared up a little during this one. Congratulations and Vibe on ladies!
