2024 Mid States All Stars – Day 2 Update (Better Late Than Never Version)

Yes, this was on Sunday and yes we said we would cover it and post that night. We were incorrect and apologize. Here’s some of the highlights from day 2 in Indy for Team Minnesota

200 Free Relay

The A team of Bobbi Simmons, Madi Parent, Lexi Tippie and Claire Wilkey placed 4th with a time of 1:37.88 and the B team of Maggie McNamara, Siggy Nymo, Genessa Sentyrz, and Amira Nguyen-Ingalsbe placed 8th with a time of 1:39.98 in the 13-14 girls
The A team for the boys 13-14 was Koehn Boyd, Kai Joyner, Michael Riolo, and Robin Boyd. They placed 6th in 1:30.79
In 11-12 Girls the Team of Marian Kalweit, Isabelle Lane, Addy Miller, and Livy Solt placed 7yh in a time of 1:44.96
11-12 boys had two teams in the top 8. A team of Bryson Hougas, Elliot Leasure, Stanley Jabs and Adrian Sanchez placed 4th in a time of 1:40.34, while team B consisting of Lucas Wang, Hudson Brennan, Jackson Wright, and Grayson Liudahl placed 8th in a time of 1:44.12
The team of Adelaide Wolf, Greta Straka, Lena Granovsky and Josey Solt took the gold for 10&U girls with a 1:53.38 and the team of Ginny Elg, Lizzie Farley, Mila Agalliu, and Lyla Schultz placed 7th with a time of 1:59.81
It was bronze in 10&U boys with the team of Archer Hougas, Jackson Polasky, Jason Lou and Levi Benson finishing with a time of 1:54.33

400 IM

Siggy Nymo added to her medal count with a silver in a time of 4:32.36 and Brooke Olsson took 4th in a time of 4:33.90 for the 13-14 girls
Kai Joyner placed 5th for the 13-14 boys in a time of 4:13.92

100 IM

Aria Armstrong was the top Minnesota finisher for 11-12 girls, placing 13th with a time of 1:07.86
Stanley Jabs was the boys 11-12 top finisher with a 10th place finish in a time of 1:05.11
Josey Solt grabbed silver in 10&U girls with a time of 1:10.55 and Lena Granovsky placed 6th in a time of 1:12.80
In 10&U boys, Levi Benson took silver in 1:11.01 and Jason Lou 4th with a time of 1:11.46

200 Free

Lexi Tippie led the way for the Minnesota 13-14 girls with a 9th place finish and a time of 1:58.35
It was 1-2 on the 13-14 boys side with Kai Joyner taking first with a time of 1:45.14 and Michael Riolo taking 2nd in a time of 1:46.32
Livy Solt placed 7th for the 11-12 girls in a time of 2:00.51
Elliot Leasure was the boys 11-12 top finisher, claiming 4th in a time of 1:56.12
It was gold for Josey Solt in 10&U girls, winning in a time of 2:11.84. Solt was joined in the top 8 by Greta Straka, who placed 6th in 2:18.52 and Lizzie Farley, who placed 7th in 2:19.55
Another gold on the 10&U boys side with Levi Benson taking the win in 2:11.68. Logan Eisenbraun placed 6th with a time of 2:19.14

100 Breast

Amira Nguyen-Ingalsbe grabbed another top 8 finish, placing 7th in 13-14 girls with a time of 1:06.87
Eli Drewes had a 7th place finish in the 13-14 boys with a time of 1:01.39

50 Breast

Sydney Edwards was the top Team Minnesota finisher with a 12th place finish and a time of 33.90 in 11-12 girls
Jackson Wright led the way in 11-12 boys with an 8th place finish and a time of 32.81
Double top 8 for 10&U girls with Ginny Elg finishing 5th in a time of 38.08 and Lena Granovsky placed 7th in a 38.38
Also double top 8 in the 10&U boys with David DePrisco grabbing a bronze in 36.65 and Jogi Egbers taking 7th in a 38.36

200 Fly

It was gold and solver for Team Minnesota here in the 13-14 girls. Siggy Nymo with the win in 2:04.47 and Brooke Olson right behind her in 2nd with a 2:06.53
Koehn Boyd took siler in the boys 13-14 in a time of 1:53.48, Paidon McGuire 7th in a 2:02.02, and Eli Kishish 8th in a 2:02.67

100 Fly

Marian Kalweit led the way for the Minnesotans with a 6th place finish and a time of 1:02.07 in 11-12 girls
Gold and silver for the 11-12 boys. Elliot Leasure with the win in 57.99 and Bryson Hougas in 2nd with a 58.11
Lizzie Farley found top 8 with a 7th place finish and a time of 1:!4.35 in 10&U girls
Levi Benson took the win in 10&U boys with a time of 1:08.87 and Archer Hougas scored bronze with a time of 1:10.23

50 Free

Claire Wilkey took 2nd and was the top Minnesota finisher with a time of 23.88. Bobbi Simmons also placed top 8 with an 8th place finish and a time of 24.67 in 13-14 girls
Robin Boyd was the top Minnesota finisher on the boys 13-14 side with a 11th place and a time of 23.22
Livy Solt had another top 8 finish with a 4th place and a time of 25.89 and Marian Kalweit placed 6th in a time of 25.98 in 11-12 girls
Bryson Hougas took silver in 11-12 boys with a time of 24.10
3 Minnesotans in the top 8 for 10&U girls. Lena Granovsky was 4th in 28.43, Josey Solt 5th in 28.57 and Adelaide Wolf 8th in 29.06
Archer Hougas = gold in the boys 10&U with a time of 28.24. Out touching 2nd by 0.01 seconds (finishes matter people)

Bobbi Simmons took the bronze in 13-14 girls with a time of 56.76 and teammate Claire Wilkey placed 7th in a time of 57.88
Kai Joyner added another medal in 13-14 boys with a 3rd place finish in a time of 53.11
Livy Solt showed up again in the top 8 placing 6th for the 11-12 girls in a time of 1:02.92
Winner, winner chicken dinner for Elliot Leasure in 11-12 boys with a time of 59.02
Lyla Schultz placed 5ht for the 10&U girls with a time of 1:11.82
Another 3 of 8 for the boys 10&U. Jason Lou 4th in 1:12.07, Archer Hougas 5th in 1:12.90 and David DePrisco 8th in 1:14.09

500 Free

Kaia Casey placed 9th with a time of 5:!5.85 to lead the Minnesota 13-14 girls
Michael Riolo and Eli Kishish battled it out in the 13-14 boys. Riolo placed 4th in 4:52.11 and Kishish 5th in 4:52.42
Marian Kalweit ended her meet with a 7th place finish in 11-12 girls in a time of 5:26.55
Stanley Jabs finished 8th in the 11-12 boys with a time of 5:26.16

Great swims and lots of fun for Team Minnesota as they placed 3rd overall and represented us all well. Congrats kiddos and Vibe on!!
