Saturday (and some Friday Diving) marked the state-wide true team sections events. In the unique format, each team is allowed four entries per individual event and in each relay event. Unlike other championship formats, scoring is linear and runs through the entire field.
Class AA
- Section 1AA – Lakeville South
- Section 2AA – Minnetonka
- Section 3AA – Eagan
- Section 4AA – Woodbury
- Section 5AA – Wayzata
- Section 6AA – Edina
- Section 7AA – Duluth East
- Section 8AA – Brainerd
Wild Cards – Chanhassen/Chaska, Prior Lake, Waconia, and East Ridge
Class A
- Section 1A – Northfield
- Section 2A – Orono
- Section 3A – Delano-Watertown-Mayer
- Section 4A – St. Thomas Academy
- Section 5A – Melrose/Sauk Centre Fusion
- Section 6A – Grand Rapids
Wild Cards – Breck/Blake, Monticello, Hutchinson, Alexandria, Mankato East, and Montevideo
