The nice thing about recognition is there really aren’t any rules. You can recognize an individual, a group, or the whole team as a family. Coach Barnes opts for the latter as he shares what makes his squad special and a family.
“The STA swim team might be a handful, but they’re a family nonetheless! They never get in the water on time, nature always calls, and they’re always studying. And let’s not forget their uncanny ability to drive the coaches nuts within the first 15 minutes. But despite all of this, they love to compete and race! Most of them might hate swimming, but when it comes down to it, they’re a team that supports each other. “
