from Coaches Kathy Walker and Aaron Rooney
Krew Muscha (freshman) approaches challenges head on. He’s incredibly hard working and willing to do what it takes to find small areas to improve. Krew is fortunate to be on a great team but it’s his greatness that makes the team what it is. We can always count on Krew for consistency in and out of the pool.
Kyler Kavanagh (sophomore) has an obsession with details. Similar to Krew, Kyler will go above and beyond to find areas to grow. It’s very frequent that I get a video at 9 pm along the lines of “look at his head position on take off!” while he’s watching the European Junior National championships. That obsession has landed Kyler amongst the best in the state.
Both of these young men continue to push themselves and each other to get 1% better every day. To quote the Jungle book “the strength of the pack is the wolf, and the strength of the wolf is the pack”. The future is now for Alexandria Diving. We have so much to look forward to with Kyler and Krew leading the way.
MSV loves our diving brethren and would like to join your coaches in recognizing your work ethic and determination in a port that scares the hell out of us. Vibe on gentlemen!!!
