All swim meets are fun in their own way, but my favorites are college conference championship meets. Hands down, they have the best team energy, the fans are always loud and engaged and the swimming and diving performances are legit
Starting Wednesday February 14th the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference will hold their annual championship at the Jean K Freeman aquatic center on the University of Minnesota campus.
Teams competing on the women’s side will be Carleton, Concordia Moorhead, Gustavus, Hamline, Macalester, St. Ben’s, St. Kate’s and St. Olaf. St. Kate’s has won the past three conference championships.
For the men, it will be Carleton, Gustavus, Hamline, Macalester, St. John’s and St. Olaf, with Gustavus having won the past four.
