In the Vibe’s humble opinion, the outstate teams never get enough publicity and recognition. It is the birthplace of Minnesota competitive swimming and there are history lessons everywhere in their programs. So we get a little excited to feature some athlete’s from those teams.
Coach John Zemke of Brainerd talks a little bit about why he would like to recognize junior Kyler Carlson. With the Brainerd squad graduating a slew of seniors from last season’s team, they were looking for someone to step up this year
“Kyler leads Brainerd with 216 team points and 11 individual wins this season. Kyler is a team leader and swims every event available. Kyler also plays football and baseball for the Brainerd Warriors.” said coach Zemke.
It’s sounds like Kyler is a well rounded individual and teammate looking to keep the proud traditions of the Brainerd swim and dive program going strong. Minnesota Swim and Vibe would like to join your coaches in recognizing all you put into your team and your sport. Vibe on Kyler!!
