Foxjets Swim Team in Eden Prairie, Minnesota is actively seeking enthusiastic individuals with a passion for coaching and teaching. This role involves collaborating with lead coaches in the development of young swimmers, making it an exciting opportunity for someone dedicated to youth athletics and possessing a strong sense of responsibility and engagement.
The starting pay for this position is $20 per hour, offering a broad spectrum of responsibilities. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s previous experience and success in the field.

Responsibilities:
– Provide instruction on proper swimming techniques, including stroke mechanics, breathing techniques, and starts/turns
– Conduct swimming lessons and coaching sessions in a safe and supportive environment
– Evaluate swimmers’ performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement
– Ensure the safety of all swimmers by enforcing pool rules and maintaining a clean and organized pool area
– Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to create a positive team atmosphere
Qualifications:
– Previous experience working with students in a coaching or teaching capacity
– USA Swimming Coach Certification or willingness to obtain certification
– Strong knowledge of swimming techniques, rules, and safety protocols
– Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct and motivate swimmers
– Ability to work well with individuals of all ages and skill levels
– Passion for swimming and the ability to educate and inspire others
