BURNSVILLE, Minn. — Minnesota State diver Natalie Freeman has been named the NSIC Diver of the Week for her efforts this past weekend.
A junior from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Freeman won both the 1-meter (277.55) and 3-meter (275.60) diving events during MSU’s double dual against Gustavus Adolphus and UW-Stevens Point. Both scores mee the six-dive standard to qualify for the NCAA Championships.
This is the third straight week that Freeman has earned NSIC Diver of the Week honors.
Minnesota State continues its season at home this Saturday as it hosts St. Thomas and Concordia-St. Paul. The diving events are scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m., with the swimming events set to follow at 2:00 p.m.
