Men’s Swim & Dive Falls to Nebraska Wesleyan on the Road

LINCOLN, Neb. – The University of Minnesota Morris men’s swim and dive team fell to Nebraska Wesleyan University, 135-67, Friday night in Lincoln, Neb.
 
The Cougars started the meet with a second-place finish in the 400-yard medley relay with a team of Ethan Bad Heart Bull, Dillon Thorstad, Max Lundgren, and Ben Caron. John Gulon earned the Cougars’ first individual win in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 22.41.
 
Austin Dunn and Sam Oster placed second and third, respectively, in the 400-yard individual medley. Gulon also won the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 54.21. Later in the meet, Oster recorded a time of 1:04.39 to place second in the 100-yard breaststroke.
 
To close out the meet, the team of Caron, Dunn, Oster, and Gulon finished second in the 200-yard freestyle relay.
 
The Cougars continue their road trip tomorrow (Saturday) as they compete at Midland University at 1 p.m.
