BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Saint John’s senior Brayden Slavik (Green Isle, Minn./Chaska) was named the MIAC Men’s Swimming Athlete of the Week on Tuesday, Nov. 11.
The honor is the third of the season and ninth of his career.
Slavik led the Johnnies with three individual wins, including a 35-year-old, pool-record time of 16:14.22 in the 1,650-yard freestyle in Saturday’s dual loss at Wisconsin-La Crosse. He also took first in the 400-yard individual medley (4:13.49) and 500-yard freestyle (4:54.21).
