ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Concordia-St. Paul women’s swimming and diving team is set for their final home meet of the season, taking on the Marauders of UMary on Saturday at the Two Rivers Aquatic Center in Mendota Heights, Minn.
The meet will begin at 11:30 a.m. and start with diving before moving into the swim events. The entirety of the meet will be live streamed on the NSIC Network including the senior day segment.
Six seniors will be honored including Giulia Cury, Emma Granovsky, Caitlyn Greenwalt, Silvana Jacquez, Sophie Leo and Chloe Rihon for their great contributions to the swim and dive program.
LAST TIME OUT
Dragon Invite: 1st of 4
Concordia took the top spot at the Dragon Invite, finishing first with a program-record 1,638 points.
The Golden Bears saw themselves break a program–record points scored during an invite after previously breaking the record at the WildBear Invite in November with 1,475.5 points.
As a team, the Navy and Gold notched 50 top-five and 114 top-ten finishes while recording 11 event wins from six different swimmers to mark their most of the season.
SOPHIE SURGES AHEAD
Sophie Leo has continued her reign in the pool , notching 13 first-place finishes thus far and is a swimmer to watch at every meet.
Leo has recorded an NSIC leading four Swimmer of the Week accolades including one this week after tallying four first-place finishes at the Dragon Invite.
HISTORY AGAINST UMARY
The two programs have met a total of five times in dual action with the Navy and Gold holding a slight 3-2 advantage.
Earlier this season, CSP fell by three points to the Marauders in Aberdeen, S.D. during a double-dual with UMary and Northern State.
The two teams also saw each other at the NSU Relays in September where the Golden Bears edged the Marauders 216-204.
ABOUT THE MARAUDERS
UMary was picked to finish seventh in the 2025-26 NSIC Preseason Coaches’ Poll with 38 points, right behind MSU Moorhead with 39.
Last season, the Marauders finished eighth at the 2024-25 NSIC Swimming and Diving Championships.
UMary currently sits at 4-0 in duals after topping the Jimmies of Jamestown two weeks ago to open the New Year. The Marauders will travel to Moorhead, Minn. on Friday for a dual with MSU Moorhead before heading to the Golden Bears on Saturday.
