MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — The St. Catherine University swimming and diving team opened the 2026 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Championships on Wednesday evening at Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center. The Wildcats competed in a pair of relays scoring a total of 54 team points.
In the women’s 200-yard medley relay, the team of Natalie Chandler, Olivia Weil, Anna Sewich, and Nicolette Harvey clocked a time of 1:52.79 to finish 6th overall scoring 26 points.
Weil and Harvey also appeared in the 800-yard freestyle relay to close out the evening as Ella Hochstetler was off first followed by Jordyn Grotbo then Weil and Harvey. The squad clocked a fifth place time of 7:59.06 for 28 points.
Preliminary trials for day two being at 10:30 am starting with the 500-yard freestyle, followed by the 200-yard individual medley, and the 50-yard freestyle for St. Kate’s. The finals session is scheduled to begin at 6:30 pm which will also include the 400-yard medley relay to close out day two.
