MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — The St. Catherine University swimming & diving team concluded the 2026 MIAC Championships on Saturday evening at Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center on the campus of the University of Minnesota. St. Kate’s finished with a team score of 219.50 in sixth place led by seniors Olivia Weil and Ella Hochstetler.
In the women’s 1650-yard freestyle, Nicolette Harvey led St. Kate’s with a 7th-place finish (18:32.98) to score 12 points. The Wildcats added more depth in the event with Shea Bradley placing 16th (19:16.75), Karina Chattopadhyay taking 18th (19:26.65), Anna Sewich finishing 21st (20:07.28), and Clare Cook right behind in 22nd (20:16.53).
St. Kate’s also picked up points in the women’s 200-yard backstroke, where Jordyn Grotbo finished 15th (2:15.14) to score 2 points.
In the women’s 200-yard breaststroke, Weil delivered one of the team’s top performances of the night, placing 2nd (2:24.11) and earning 17 points. Sierra Hermansen added to the total with a 15th-place finish (2:36.23) for 2 more points.
The Wildcats closed the meet in the women’s 400-yard freestyle relay, with the St. Catherine team of Grotbo, Weil, Harvey, and Hochstetler touching in 3:42.65 for 6th place and 26 points.
