NORTHFIELD, Minn. — The St. Catherine University swimming and diving team collected ten top personal marks at the Cows, Colleges, and Contentment Invite in Northfield on Saturday afternoon. The swimming portion of the meet was deemed an exhibition after facility issues prohibited official times to be recorded.
Junior diver, Juliet Peterson finished the 1-meter eleven dive event with a score of 272.20, good for eleventh place and a career best mark.
Senior Olivia Weil had a day recording a career best time in the 200-yard backstroke and non-suited best times in the 200-back and 200-yard freestyle. Senior Maka Chikowero also had a day posting non-suited best times in the 400-yard individual medley and 100-yard breaststroke. Senior Nicolette Harvey touched the wall with a non-suited best time in the 100-yard freestyle as well as Shea Bradley in the 100-yard butterfly.
First-year Anna Sewich also had a career-best time in the 50-yard freestyle which was a non suited best time for the rookie. Hanne Grham Lawver joined Sewich in the 50-free tallying a non-suited best finish.
St. Kate’s is back in action next weekend hosting the St. Kate’s quad on November 1 at Butler Center Pool.
