
ST. PAUL, MINN. – The University of St. Thomas swim and dive put together a successful weekend at Anderson Pool. The Tommies hosted the second annual Tommie Invite over the weekend, welcoming South Dakota, South Dakota State and Green Bay for a midseason meet. Sever St. Thomas student-athletes put together outstanding performances, including Maya Kelly (Lake Elmo, Minn. / Stillwater), who was named the Summit League Peak Performer of the Week Tuesday afternoon.
KELLY’S PERFORMANCE
- Kelly swept the 1-meter and 3-meter diving competitions over the weekend, defeating conference foes in both events
- Swept the diving events for the third consecutive meet
- Won the 1-meter competition with a six-dive score of 250.35
- Won the 3-meter competition with a six-dive score of 260.40
UP NEXT
Kelly and the St. Thomas will return to action in the new year. South Dakota will return to Anderson Pool January 2-3 to dual the Tommies. Friday’s meet will begin at 5:30 p.m.
