COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. — The Carleton College men’s swimming & diving team won four events but fell short in a competitive dual meet at Saint John’s University on Saturday, dropping the contest by a final score of 157-143.
The team posted 13 season-best times.
The Carleton “A” relay team of Nicholas Chang, Luke Schmitzer, Warren Kozak, and Neil Tollefson got the Knights going early by winning the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:38.32.
Chang came back later to win the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 54.62.
Jackson Rankin swept the butterfly events, reaching the wall at 52.50 in the 100-yard race and a season-best 1:57.01 in the 200-yard competition.
Up Next for the Knights
Carleton returns to competition next Saturday, Jan. 31, when the Knights travel to cross-town rival St. Olaf for an 11:00 a.m. dual meet.
