BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Carleton College junior Hailey Westrup was selected as the MIAC Women’s Diving Athlete of the Week for Jan. 19-25.
Westrup swept both diving events during the Knights’ dual meet with Saint Benedict on Jan. 24, posting scores of 245.00 in the 1-meter and 270.10 in the 3-meter competitions. Her 3-meter six-dive point total was good for a NCAA regional qualifying score. Her victories provided key points in Carleton’s 154-146 victory.
This is Westrup’s second career conference weekly award.
