BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Carleton College junior Hailey Westrup was chosen as the MIAC Women’s Diving Athlete of the Week. This is her second such honor of the season and the third of her career.
Westrup won the 1-meter competition at the Northfield Diving Invite on Feb. 3. She finished with an 11-dive score of 437.90 to claim the victory by more than eight points. More importantly, she also notched her second NCAA Regional qualifying score.
The Knights compete at the MIAC Championships to be held Feb. 11-14 at the University of Minnesota’s Jean Freeman Aquatic Center.
