Teams:  Cretin-Derham Hall, Edina, Hopkins, Minneapolis Southwest, Minneapolis South-Washburn-Roosevelt, Richfield, St. Paul Highland Park, St. Louis Park Notable Graduates:  Team Outlook Edina again is top dog in the section and will look for another 350+ point victory this season.  They graduated a couple of double event champions but have plenty of firepower on the returning

Teams:  Chisholm, Grand Rapids, Hibbing, International Falls, Mesabi East, Proctor-Esko, Rock Ridge Notable Graduates:  Team Outlook Grand Rapids graduated some serious points, but probably not enough to impact their chances of repeating as section champions in 2025.   Senior Joe Loney will lead the way returning as section champion in both the 200 and 500 Free.   

Teams:  Champlin Park, Irondale, Maple Grove, Osseo, Park Center, Robbinsdale Armstrong-Cooper, Spring Lake Park, Wayzata Notable Graduates:  Team Outlook Wayzata won the section by over 350 points last season and only graduates three top 8 section finishers from their squad, so we will go out on a limb and call Wayzata a strong favorite to

Teams:  Alexandria, Detroit Lakes, Fergus Falls, Melrose-Sauk Centre, Morris Area, Park Rapids, Thief River Falls Notable Graduates:  Team Outlook It was Melrose Sauk Centre by a comfortable margin last season and it looks like the graduation losses are about equal between the Fusion and Alexandria, so we will call MSC the favorite.   Senior Servin Anderson

Teams:  Mounds View, Roseville, St. Paul Central, Stillwater, Tartan-North, White Bear Lake, Woodbury Notable Graduates:  Team Outlook Woodbury will have to replace some graduation points, but we will still call them the favorite to repeat as section champions this year.  The have a triad of seniors that should help lead the way for the Royals. 

Teams:  Chisago Lakes, Columbia Heights, Fridley, Hill Murray, Humboldt-Washington-OWL, Minneapolis Edison, St. Thomas Academy, St. Paul Como Park, St. Paul Harding, St. Paul Johnson Notable Graduates:  Team Outlook St. Thomas Academy is looking as strong as ever and though the section title was never in doubt for 2025, the state title might be in reach. 

Teams:  Apple Valley, Eagan, East Ridge, Eastview, Hastings, Park, Rosemount, Two Rivers Notable Graduates:  Team Outlook I now have carpal tunnel from typing all the names of the top graduates from last year in this section.  The section meet finals should look a bit different from last year from an individual standpoint.  From the team

Teams:  Dassel-Cokato-Litchfield, Delano-Watertown-Mayer, Hutchinson, Montevideo, Monticello, Princeton, St. Cloud Apollo, Willmar Notable Graduates:  Team Outlook In 2024, 43 points separated 1st and 3rd in the team standings at sections with Hutchinson coming out on top and scoring a 3rd place finish at the state meet.  They will be the favorites in this section in 2025

Teams:  Bloomington Jefferson, Burnsville, Chanhassen/Chaska, Eden Prairie, Minnetonka, Prior Lake, Shakopee, Waconia Notable Graduates:  Team Outlook Section 2AA features state runner up Minnetonka as well as state third place finisher Prior Lake.    Tonka won the section by 160 points last year and though they graduated some state-level talent, they have plenty coming up through the
